President Monson, Eyring and Uchtdorf I do my best to follow the direction of THESE men. Men of God.
What and why?
I have been hosting "learn with me" classes in my home for a while now. We have talked about and done many things. We have made tortillas, gluten, cheese with whole milk AND powedered milk, we have made a variety of alternative cooking items (apple box ovens, wonderboxes and alcohol stoves). We have discussed the "All is Safely Gathered in" pamphlets.
The class is informal and we learn together. I study and learn how to do things and present them, but I am learning from those that come to the class. I hope to have others presenting too. I can't have all the fun.
I hope to reach as many as will come. I have about 40 people on an email list and a 1/3rd come to the classes. I hold them at my home twice a day, once a week.
I have created this blog to keep my other blog more of a personal blog and use this one for my class.

- My name is Shelley. I am just a person who has felt the urge to help others become more prepared for the rough times that are to come. I do this only becasue I have a personal testimony of being prepared and that IF WE ARE PREPARED, WE SHALL NOT FEAR. I don't like being scared. We live in perilous and turbulant times.
